Characteristics of PVC plastic sheets
PVC plastic sheets is a polar non-crystalline polymer, it is widely used in all kinds of products in all walks of life: wire skin, fiber-optic skin, shoes, handbags, bags, accessories, signs and billboards, architectural decoration, furniture, hanging decorations, rollers, pipes, toys, curtains, rolling doors, auxiliary medical supplies, gloves, some foods, some fashion and so on.
PVC plastic sheets have poor thermal stability and light resistance. Hydrogen chloride was decomposed at 150 °C, and the reaction occurred with the content of the plasticizer. In addition, the influence of pigment on PVC is reflected in whether the pigment reacts with PVC and other components of PVC products, and the pigment itself is resistant to migration and heat. Certain components of the colorant may contribute to the degradation of the resin. PVC plastic sheets are a polar polymer, which has a strong affinity for conducting materials such as water, so its resistance is smaller than that of non-polar polyolefins, but it still has a higher volume negative and breakdown voltage. The polar groups of the polyvinyl chloride are attached directly to the backbone. Below the glass transition temperature, the dipole segments are confined by frozen atoms of the backbone and can not move, so they do not produce dipole polarization, it can be used as high-frequency insulating material at room temperature. When used as wire insulation, the electrical insulation of the suspension resin is 10-100 times higher than that of the floating resin. The presence of chlorine ions from degradation reduces electrical insulation.
